Palliser Regional Library twenty points tasks
1. Go for a walk. Spot and identify 5 different species of birds. Tell us in an email what they were called and describe what they looked like.
2. Make a sock puppet of someone famous. Bring it in to show us.
3. Using a famous photo, put yourself in the picture, either with computer software,photocopier, or cut-out and paste. Bring it to show us.
4. Make a craft that you found directions for in a library book. Email us the name of the book and a photo of your completed craft.
5. Learn how to do a yo-yo trick. Show your trick to a Library staff member for your points.
6. Paint your face in honour of your favourite sports team. Come and show us!
7. Make a house of cards two feet high. Email us a photo of you with it.
8. Go for five hours (while awake) without talking. Have a witness sign that you did it, and bring the signature into the librarina for your points.
9. Find five famous people whose first names rhyme with “limb”. List them and what they are famous for in an email to us.
10. Make a watermelon helmet and email us a photo of you wearing it. Twenty bonus points if you wear it into the Library.
11. Make a lawn ornament with duct tape and wire coat hangers. Bring it in to show us!
12. Make homemade cookies, and bring some for us to sample. Yum!
13. Make a rap song about reading. Perform it for us in the Library.
14. Watch all the Harry Potter movies in a week. Have a witness sign that you did it. Bring the signature into the library for points.
15. Write a letter to the editor of any newspaper about an issue that you feel passionate about. Email us the letter.
16. Join You Tube if you aren’t already a member. Look up the Palliser Summer video collection. Add one to your favourites and then email us with your You Tube username to prove it for points.
