Palliser Regional Library ten points tasks
1. Go up to a stranger and serenade them with a Christmas carol. Have a witness sign that you did it. Email it in for points.
2. Teach one of your parents to dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, or teach them to do the Moonwalk. Have your parent sign that you did it. Email it in for points.
3. Make a Lego tower bigger than three feet tall. Show us a photo of you with the tower. Email us a photo for points.
4. Shoot 10 free throws (basketball). Have a witness sign that you did it. Email it in for points.
5. Make a family tree for your family, back to your great grandparents. Bring it in to show your librarian for points.
6. See the movie and read the book. List five reasons why one is better than the other. Email us your results for points.
7. Make a giant ice cream sundae and email us a picture for points.
8. Wear five hats at the same time in a public place. Email us photographic evidence for your points.
9. Dress like you’re from the 70s. Email us a picture. Ten bonus points for wearing it to the Library.
10. Dress up as your favourite comic book hero and come and show us at the library fopr your points.
11. Memorize one TV theme song and sing it to Library staff. Have a Library staff sign that you did it for points.
12. Volunteer to walk a neighbour’s dog. Have a witness sign that you did it. Email it in to us for points.
13. List three retired sports numbers and name the player and the team that he/she played for. Email us your answer for points.
14. Learn to say “Where is the Library?” in 3 different languages other than English. Write them out and send it to us for points.
15. Do a random act of kindness. Tell us about it in a paragraph. Email it to us for your points.
16. Read 5 books and write the titles down. Bring us the list at the library for your points.
17. Take a photo of yourself with the provincial flower (official emblem). Don’t hurt the flower!! Email us the photo.
18. Get 50 high fives in one day. Have a witness sign that you did it and bring the proof into the lirarian for points.
19. Send an anonymous card or gift to someone. Have a witness sign that you did it and bring it intop the library for points.
20. Find a book with the word “Sleep” or “Monkey” or “Round” in the title. What was the book called? Email us your answer for points.
23. Write a paragraph about someone that you consider being a role model. Email us your answer for your points.
24. Make an animal out of toothpicks and marshmallows. Bring a photo of it, or bring the animal in to show us.
25. Imagine you started a band. What would be your band’s name? What kind of music would you play? Which other band(s) would your group be influenced by? Email us your answers for points.
